Marketplace rules

These rules apply to every shop on NAFLIS MALL, which is operated by NAFLIS AFRICA LTD..

What may not be sold

  • Anything that is against the laws of Ghana, including illegal drugs, weapons and stolen goods.
  • Fake or copied goods, or goods that pretend to be a brand they are not.
  • Medicines, food, cosmetics and other health products that need approval from the Food and Drugs Authority, unless they have it.
  • Goods or content that are sexually explicit, that promote hatred or violence, or that exploit children.
  • Anything described falsely: wrong pictures, wrong prices, wrong sizes, goods you do not have.
  • Services or offers that ask people to pay first and get nothing back.

How a shop should behave

  • Show true prices and say plainly what the buyer gets.
  • Deliver what was ordered, or tell the buyer quickly and refund what they paid.
  • Do not post fake reviews or ask others to. Do not copy another shop's pictures as your own.
  • Reply to buyers on the order page. Do not threaten or harass them.
  • Keep your own details and documents true. If you apply for verification, send only your own documents.

Reporting

Anyone can report a product or a shop using the Report link on its page. You do not need an account. A report does not take anything down by itself: an administrator reads it and decides.

What we may do

Depending on how serious a problem is and whether it has happened before, we may:

  1. send the shop a warning explaining what to fix;
  2. take a product off sale (the shop cannot put it back until we release it);
  3. suspend the account.

The shop is always told what was decided and why. To ask us to look again, contact us through Help and contact with the product or shop name. We may act at once, without a warning, where there is a risk to buyers or the law is clearly broken.

Verified shops

A shop may be marked Verified after an administrator has checked identity documents the owner chose to send. Verified means we checked who the owner is. It is not a promise about any particular product, and it can be removed at any time if the rules are broken. Selling does not depend on being verified.

NAFLIS MALL does not sell the goods and is not a party to a sale between a buyer and a shop. See the Terms and Buyer protection.
